i have butterflies in my stomach.

Tomorrow is my first day of school. i'm nervous! feeling lost around campus, hoping for good professors, wanting the other kids to think I'm cool, hoping mom packed you a good lunch. Well, all except that last one. It is funny, when you get older (and when you are poor) food becomes more about sustenance, tomorrow i am taking a pomegranate and string cheese for lunch...i'm cool with that. I will have my Grandma take a picture before I leave the house tomorrow...no I am not joking. I just picked up the disposable camera from Savon.
This last weekend some dear friends came to visit, it was refreshing. It is always a good feeling being around people who know you and "get it" so to speak. The visit gave me a little jump start. and I learned how to shotgun a beer (a PBR lite, at that) , feel free to call me by my new nickname "shotgun rosie"
I think I like a boy...we shall see.
Work is really kicking my ass right now, but can I say; this is the PERFECT job for me at the moment. It varies so much from day today. One day I'm picking up 40 lbs. bags of dog food at Petsmart, other days I'm schmoozing with doctors and dentists, and some days I'm moving Christmas decorations back into storage. It's a Rosie kind of job.
Watched the Lebowski last night. Man, there are no words for how good that movie is.Listening to old school Interpol and loving it.

That's all I got, here is a quote from my Bartlett's (lovingly given by the best friends AMBA and Matt Pool) : "something deeply hidden had to be behind all things. " Albert Einstein.

happy first day of school. i don't know why you are drinking pbr "lite," but, in school, they are sure to teach you not to do things like that. "lite." that's just plain silly.

shotgun, i'm glad to read you're doing well.
