Bear Abortions?

A few things note-worthy.
Went to my first house party tonight here in Vegas. You ask, "Well Rosie its only 8:50pm, so early to be home?" Let me just say I realize more and more how profoundly spoiled I have been growing up with all of you. I don't know if you got the memo but the rest of the world, or at least American Pop Culture, is not like us. There I sat, on a couch with 2 guys listening to R&B slow jams while talking of the ins and outs of Vin Diesel movies. Did I spell that right? Probably not, but, as Matt would say it is good that I don't know how to spell his name. Anyway, I had 3 saving graces of the evening. One being my friend Katie who sat on an opposing couch making funny faces at me, as if she could read my thoughts. I have never seen so many Bro-Hos in one place, all flipping their hair in their FOX Racing t-shirts...my second saving grace was Chuck. Chuck was a 6'3" black basketball player...Occasionally throughout the night he would pull out a piece of paper and pencil from his back pocket and write something down...Coming from Chuck this was intriguing to me. So I approached, and Chuck told me he is writing a Sci-Fi Fantasy novel...in his free time. Don't pigeon-hole people...Because apparently R&B listening Chuck is also a huge Trekie. You never can tell. And my third saving grace: Red Stripe. I would motion to Katie..."Please, for the love of God, put another beer in my hand before this guy mentions another chase scene from Fast and the Furious. "
Second thing worth noting I am acquiring a mild addiction to sleeping aids. I have been having the weirdest dreams lately. I wont go into all the details...but here are a few snip-its: Giving a bear an abortion? Dying Goldfish? Aquatic Grasshoppers? Madonna on vinyl singing, Like a Virgin in Vietnamese??? Weird...I wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty and stressed out. Thank God for Tylenol PM.
Also, I am in the process of writing out my thoughts about this city. I will be calling it: The Vegas Chronicles. It will come out in installments. Look forward to the first issue very soon here. I miss your faces...and your lack of Vin Diesel knowledge.
