For Jac:

It has been brought to my attention that things have been...umm...lacking in these neck of the woods. So here it is: "A Dog and Pony Show". You see, dear reader, I'm going to attempt to distract you from the lack of substance with pictures and lyrics...and trickery. You can't say I didn't warn you:

Baby Rosie and Mom: This was the age she started letting me clean and cook and sew with her. Also the age she made me my first mix tape. It had The Eurythmics , Dylan, and Fleetwood Mac on it. She made a magazine cover for it. I remember thinking my mom was the COOLEST human alive, I was right, she was pretty rad.

Big Bear: All I can think of lately is escaping the 112 degree weather and heading for the hills, well, more so mountains. I miss it. I miss the Lake and Teddy Bears and The Pool clan...pretty typical of me, I know.

For Jac: This is from when I visited. I wanted you to have it in one form or another. I miss you and Fran Bird and Paul. Keep writing on your blog, it keeps me sane...really. When I don't have time to think I can read a post or a letter from you; and there, in black and white, are my thoughts that have gone unsaid. Thank you.

LISTENING:

All day long. And also a lot of Buck 65. Highly Recommend both of these.
A lyric: " Something broke that I can't seem to mend, because some things break before they bend. I hope there's Love at the end of your day to take you away." Very Beautiful song. Do It.
