It's been awhile since I've done top 5: Drum Role please....
Top Five Favorite Things About Las Vegas:
1. Knowing that if I needed to, I could leave my house at 2am and within mere minutes have a drink, a smoke, and instant entertainment at my fingertips. I do not exercise this freedom nearly enough, but it good to have all the same.
2. One word: ANTHROPOLOGIE.
3. Once a week I meet with Katie. We order iced coffee, eat a pastry, have a clove and discuss our weeks. (usually this consists of bitching, but it is therapeutic for all involved).
4. Fifth floor of Leid Library at UNLV. It's north face is made of entirely windows. I go and watch the human existence play out below me. It is amazing how peaceful we all seem from that high up. There are comfy chairs up there that provide an excellent spot to pray and read and write.
5. Popsicles. I eat a lot of popsicles here.
